Marshland Credit Union is pleased to provide a convenient new member service, Occasional Overdraft Privilege Service (OOPS). We are always looking for ways to better serve our members. We think that OOPS will do just that and add value to your Marshland Credit Union checking account.

If you have ever made a mistake in your checking account, or written a check for more money than the available balance in the account, you are aware of the expenses and problems associated with inadvertent overdrafts. We want to help you avoid these situations.

Effective immediately, we have added convenient Overdraft Privilege Service to eligible personal checking accounts. Rather than automatically returning, unpaid, any non-sufficient fund items that you may have, we will consider, without obligation on our part, payment of your reasonable overdrafts, as long as you maintain your account in good standing.

Please note: The Credit Union's practice of Re-Posting Drafts on the following day will cease effective May 1, 2005.

OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE SERVICE:
•  Requires no action on your part, you do not have to sign any additional documents
•  It costs you nothing unless you use the Overdraft Privilege Service
•  Not available to Minors under Eighteen (18) years of age

OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE CAN MEAN:
•  Payment of overdrafts up to $400 will normally be considered on eligible checking accounts!
•  Fewer charges from retailers for returned checks!
•  Additional convenience and flexibility in managing your funds!
•  Less aggravation and embarrassment!
•  Overdraft Privilege is available for ATM Withdrawals and Visa CheckCard Purchases!
•  Overdraft Privilege is currently not available for Internet Banking and Telephone Banking Transactions.

Our normal non-sufficient funds or overdraft charges will apply to each item that would create an overdraft on your account. We will send you a notice each time an overdraft occurs.

Of course, we can't promise to pay every overdraft and we are never obligated to pay your overdrafts, even if your account is in good standing and even though we may have previously paid overdrafts for you. RESTRICTIONS DO APPLY, and you should read the enclosed Overdraft Privilege Policy (Service Description).
